Micah B. Hahn is an environmental epidemiologist investigating connections between the health of humans, animals, and the ecosystems we share.
I am interested in understanding how human-driven changes to the environment affect human health. By understanding the impact of environmental pressures and social practices on health outcomes, we can create science-driven public health interventions that simultaneously protect ecosystems and human health and support resilient communities dealing with a changing environment.
I am currently an Assistant Professor of Environmental Health at the Institute for Circumpolar Health Studies at the University of Alaska-Anchorage. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
