*** UPDATE! April 2022: We are actively growing our research group! We will have an opening for a full-time or part-time Research Associate this fall. If you have skills in biostatistics, epidemiologic modeling, or project management and are interested in climate and health work in Alaska, you can learn more and apply for an open position here. ***

Micah B. Hahn is an environmental epidemiologist investigating connections between the health of humans, animals, and the ecosystems we share.

I am interested in understanding how human-driven changes to the environment affect human health.  By understanding the impact of environmental pressures and social practices on health outcomes, we can create science-driven public health interventions that simultaneously protect ecosystems and human health and support resilient communities dealing with a changing environment.

I am currently an Assistant Professor of Environmental Health at the Institute for Circumpolar Health Studies at the University of Alaska-Anchorage.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
